Ocala’s Mark Emery wins another Emmy

Talented Mark Emery From Ocala gets National Recognition Once Again

Ocala resident Mark Emery once again received recognition from the National  Academy of Television Arts and Sciences at the 34th Annual News and Documentary Emmy Awards, held Tuesday, Oct 1st in New York, at Time Warner Center. The Emmy was awarded for Outstanding Cinematography – Documentary and Longform, as one of several directors of photography in “Untamed Americas” on the National Geographic channel.

Mark has a long list of credits to his name, and has filmed  with Navy Seals, Imax, the BBC, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, and much more. His still photography has been published in National Geographic Magazine, Newsweek, The London Times, Outside Magazine,Outdoor LIfe, Alaska Magazine, Infisherman, Florida Sportsman, and others.

Mark went to Vanguard High School in Ocala, formerly worked with Jordan Klein, and now is president of Wet Waders Inc in Ocala.
